The following EVENTS were added to the TIGGE database

06-11-2008 MetOffice
A corruption of the area around the north pole in exner pressure occurred on or around 10 October 2008. This was propagated through the perturbations, affecting forecasts from cycle 12Z on 20081010 to cycle 0Z on 20081016. The corruption was fixed by running without exner pressure perturbations for the 0Z cycle on 20081016. From cycle 12Z on 20081016 the quality of the forecasts is expected to be back to normal.
